William Allen letter, 1821.

A letter addressed to William Allen of Bardstown, Kentucky. The letter has been damaged and the name of the author is missing. The writer informs Allen about a letter that Allen sent to Mr. Littel in Frankfort, Kentucky. Mr. Littel left Frankfort before the letter arrived, and the letter was sent to Washington City as a dead letter. The letter was opened and then returned to Allen.
